I finished this cartoon that's been in my head for some time now called No Homo(phobe). Check it out in the cartoons section.

I updated the Visual Gallery & Cartoon sections into categories navigatable at the top for easier access.

There's only so much time.

I've had so many ideas over the years, artwork, projects, new techniques, & things that were just fun, but having to decide what to do next is always the challenge. Sometimes it's picked for me by rent being due, but many other times it's just me trying to figure out what would be a good use of my limited time.

So far I've had to let go of two ideas I really liked so I could get other things done. The actual 3D painting technique as well as painting in "stereo". If I stuck with them then I probably still wouldn't' be done with them. Too much chemistry involved in one & the other is one of those that takes more practice before I could feel satisfied with the results.

During this last week I wasn't able to get out to do any street artwork. The weather just sucked. I did get the Fountain Square done using the palette knife technique as well as a personalized montage per request. They both took a lot of my time. I finished off the time between blog posts by doing a Starry Night of Cincinnati per request as well.

I also did one more piece for The Full Art Spectrum's Jazz Festival Collaborative Event. It's another large piece.

I framed a handful of my pieces. The City Rain series should be totally framed now & same with the Living in the City set. They'll be part of the event at the Artizen this Saturday.

Also, with the recent loss of the Solid Rock Church's 6 story tall statue of Jesus I was inspired a bit to do these.
