Hello,

Busy, busy, busy. It's been a fun last few weeks volunteering at the Carnegie & working with a bunch of kids to bring their creative dreams to reality in a stage production. What a tremendous privilage & thrill it has been indeed. Although I think I have a new solution to the world's energy crisis: 7-year-olds! Just give them a box of sugary juice wait about 10 minutes & you have UNLIMITED energy right there!

Now this site is actually interactive!

I haven't created much fine art during that time but created a "comments" section (which you'll see at the bottom of this blog entry) for each individual painting, drawing, or cartoon. I created this "geology-themed" piece with tremendous amount of texture & bright colors despite it's earthy-tone.

There is also a new section for the graphic novel titled:

The Ancestry Project

It's a story I've had mapped out for years that I'm just now committing to images & words. I plan on having updates to the story every 2 weeks until each episode is done.

The Full Art Spectrum had their Jazz Collaborative Event kick off on the 30th. It was awesome. Coffee Emporium reported it was the largest after-hours crowd they have seen all year. We had wonderful performances from the band & poets. The artwork and poetry will remain up in the store for most of the month of August still. Chuck Wiggins caught most of them on video but I'm having trouble uploading it because of some silly USB error on my computer's configuration. I got the piece "Cowboys & Indians" performed exactly how I envisioned it too. I've got to get this up somehow!

One of the pieces I worked on with Jason T. Ott & Chad Rassmussen will be the cover art for Natural Awakenings coming out later this month. Ch-che-check it out!

Our next public event has been set: Oct 23rd, Baker Hunt Arts & Cultural Center in Covington, KY going on at the same time the World Music Fest is. We're just now gathering our troops. We're going to reach out to those people already taking advantage of the arts at Baker Hunt as well.

The Bengals Editorial Cartoon is back!

Last year I said I rarely do preseason. Well, perhaps I set a standard because now I couldn't wait for the first preseason game. It's still featured at BengalsNation.com. I still post it on Facebook as well as here. So check it anywhere & make comments!

Oh, it was my birthday this last weekend: Happy birthday to me!

TTFN, TTYL
